Daily Thanks – 1 of 30

For the past month, I’ve been using Facebook to post a daily message to remind ourselves of the miraculous workings of God the Parent in keeping us alive and healthy.  I’ve decided to repost all the messages here in my blog so that you can refer to a message each day.  After 30 days, you can start back and continue to feel thankful every day.  When our minds become spirited then God will become spirited and shower us with more and more blessings!!

Seeing everyone’s Thanksgiving Day posts was really heart warming & inspiring. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we were able to feel and share our gratitude like that not just on special occasions, but every single day? Let me try a different type of Facebook challenge:  To raise awareness that our bodies are lent to us, and are being kept alive, by divine providence.  I will post a reason to be THANKFUL based on the miracles of the body and our natural environment.
I don’t know how long I can keep this up (hopefully at least a month), and not sure if I can really post daily, but we should appreciate this special gift of life and not take for granted the heavenly workings that sustain us each day, so here goes. Feel free to chime in with your own list, or give me ideas for the next day!
Day 1: I’m thankful for each breath of life. Having been diagnosed with asthma at the age of two, being able to breathe freely is at the top of my list. Each one of us takes over 20,000 breaths a day, without even having to think about it. We are blessed with an incredible functioning body.
