Home of the Parent

From January 25 – 28, 2016, I returned to Ojiba, the home of the Parent, located in Tenri-City, Nara-Prefecture, Japan.   The pilgrimage was to attend the Spring Grand Service on January 26th.  This day marked the 130th year since our Foundress withdrew from physical life.  Her soul, however, is everliving, and She continues to work for our salvation all over the world.  Here are pictures from my trip.

I am a fourth generation American of Japanese descent. My great-grandfather immigrated to Hawaii in 1907, and founded Taiheiyo Church in 1931. My grandfather became the 2nd head minister in 1956, and my father succeeded him as the 3rd head minister in 1981. On November 7, 2015, I was installed as the 4th head minister.
